Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum

I had heard of the wax museum from other people who had visited New York, and I was curious to see the realistic statues of famous people.

The museum had an interesting mixture of statues. There were historical statues that told the story of how Tussaud began. Then there were statues of people in recent history (like Frank Sinatra and Princess Diana) and those of current pop culture icons.

Morgan Freeman and Jodi Foster are two of my favorite actors.

I loved Star Trek: The Next Generation when I was in high school (I know, I'm a geek), and I still enjoy catching the occasional re-run from time to time. I couldn't resist posing with Guinan (Whoopi Goldberg) and Jean Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart).

You may have read about my distaste for this singer on the section of my site called "Expressions". When Kelly saw there was a statue of this person, she encouraged me to take a picture like this. I know...I need help.

This by far was the most moving display in the museum. I don't think Kelly and I left that room dry-eyed.
