Central Park

I'm sure Central Park is one of the most well-known parks in the country. Our hotel was somewhat close to the park, so we walked through on one of our trips towards downtown.

It's interested to see such beautiful greenery in a metropolitan area like NYC.

I had never seen a black squirrel before, so I had to take this cute little fellow's picture.

The park was lovely with lots of shady trees. I saw many people enjoying the day by reading a book or studying. Wish I had had the time to read in that beautiful spot.

One of the interesting things about Central Park is that there are actual streets that run through the interior of the park. These streets appeared to be for carriage rides, cyclists, skaters, and a myriad of other recreational uses.
