Good Charlotte Concert

As I mentioned, Kelly and I spent a good deal of time in pursuit of Kelly's favorite band, Good Charlotte. They had three concerts at the Roseland Ballroom while we were visiting New York. We got tickets to the third show. We decided to go to the venue the night of the first show to see how the layout was and what to expect by way of crowds. Kelly wanted to get there as early as possible because they were general admission seats. Anyway, the first night we were there, we went to the back of the venue and sat on a table for the duration of the show. We could hear the music and just enjoyed the night. We hadn't been there long before a few of the guys on the road crew began talking with us. After hearing our southern accents, everyone wanted to know where we were from (I don't know how many times I heard that question during the duration of the week). We ended up befriending two of the truck drivers and the door security man. By the end of the show, the security guy told us to bring our tickets for the third show to him, and he would let us in at the backdoor. Then he told us to come back the next night, and we may get in on an All-Access pass. Well, we went back as instructed, and we got to see the concert from the VIP deck. That was so cool. We ended up hanging out with the truck drivers after the concert, and those were some interesting fellows. The next night was the third show, and we went to the back door as we were told. I ended up hanging out with one of the trucker's all-night while Kelly enjoyed the concert. Good Charlotte is her band, not mine, so I had no use to see the show again. All in all, it was fun, and we met some interesting people.
